Penn State's Forestland DMAP Information

 

The Penn State Forestland Management Office is accepting requests for hunting season 2007-2008 DMAP coupons. The Penn State Forestland Mgmt. Office has enrolled two properties into the Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) for the 2007-2008 whitetail deer hunting season.

Unit #433 is the Stone Valley Forest in northern Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. The approximately 6770 acre forest is open to the public and easily accessible. All Pennsylvania Game Commission laws and regulations apply within the boundary of the Stone Valley Forest. 136 coupons will be distributed to qualified licensed hunters.

Apply for a Unit #433 DMAP coupon by sending or dropping off a self addressed stamped envelope to the following address:

The following information must be included with your request:

Hunter's Name
Hunter's Address
Hunter's 2007-08 Back Tag #
Requested DMAP Unit #433

All requests must be received by the Forestland Management Office (205 Forest Resources Laboratory) by 8:00 AM on August 22nd, 2007. At that time coupons will be distributed to the first 136 eligible envelopes in our possession. Allocation will be on a first come first serve basis so drop off or send in your request as soon as possible.

During the initial allocation only one coupon per hunter per DMAP unit will be distributed.

Unit #327 is the Weaver Forest in southern Centre County, Pennsylvania. The approximately 400 acre forest is open to the public and easily accessible. All Pennsylvania Game Commission laws and regulations apply within the boundary of the Weaver Forest. 8 coupons will be distributed to qualified licensed hunters.

Apply for a Unit #327 DMAP coupon by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to:

At that time coupons will be distributed to the first 8 eligible envelopes in our possession. Allocation will be on a first come first serve basis so drop off or send in your request as soon as possible.

During the initial allocation only one coupon per hunter per DMAP unit will be distributed.

NOTE: A qualified licensed hunter can request a DMAP coupon for both Unit #433 and Unit #327.
