Game of Logging Program Held at the Stone Valley Forest

Certified Game of Logging instructor, David Sienko, instructs loggers during a recent Game of Logging training program in the PSU Stone Valley Forest. Ongoing professional training for workers in the forest products industry is one of the functions provided by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program in Pennsylvania. The Penn State Forestland Management Office has been assisting the SFI program since 2001 by offering financial support, hosting training programs and supplying training expertise-all designed to promote job safety and long-term forest sustainability.
