Timbersale Boundary Tree Triple blue diagonal slashes on a tree indicate a timber sale boundary. A tree marked in this fashion may or may not be harvested in 5 years.
Save Tree Blue rings on a tree indicate a save tree. A tree marked in this fashion typically will be harvested within 5 years.
Cut Tree Orange dots or orange slashes indicate a cut tree. A tree marked in this fashion will be harvested within 2 years.
Property Boundary Tree A white square on a tree indicates the Penn State property line. A tree marked in this fashion identifies where Penn State ownership begins and ends.
